John ‘Sonny’ Gerahty
Peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Sadly passed away 2nd May 2026 in his 78th year. Predeceased by his parents John and Nora-May Geraghty, sister Margaret Fennelly (Abbeyleix).
Sadly missed by his sons John, Gerry, Anthony and Mikie, daughters Bridie and Edel, partner Bridget, brothers Martin, Michael, Gerry and Tony, sisters Maura Lohan (Loughrea), Bridie Seery (Moate), sons in law Niall and Jimmy, daughters in law Siobhan, Lorraine, Lisa, grandchildren Megan, Jason, Graham, Katelynne, Caoimhe, Eoin, Tara, Ryan, Jack, Dara and Luke. Brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Remains reposing on Tuesday evening in Corpus Christi church, Lisdoonvarna, V95 P585 from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am, burial afterwards in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Doolin.
House Private.
