People across Clare are encouraged to call out their friends and family if they witness poor driver behaviour this bank holiday weekend.
A Garda operation has been in place since Thursday morning and will remain in place until Tuesday at the same time.

Last year, Gardaí recorded a 10% increase in incidents of distracted driving, a 6% increase in the number of people not wearing seatbelts and a 4% increase in people driving while intoxicated.
Superintendent with the Clare-Tipperary Garda Division, Eddie Golden, says everyone in a vehicle has a responsibility to ensure their safety on the roads.
