Alfie passed away peacefully at home on the 4th September 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his beautiful grandson Dean, brothers Cyril, Nicky and Tony, sister Mary and his parents Laurence and Katherine.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Emer (Wiley), sons Mark, Barry, Padraigh, daughter Eimear (Horan), daughters-in-law Mary, Dariena and Claire, son in law David, grandchildren Ciara, Lillie, Callum, Grace, Reah, Ada and Ella, sisters Peggy and Kathleen, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and his great neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at his residence (V95 E372) on Saturday (5th September) from 3pm until 7 pm. Arriving at St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral, Ennis, on Sunday (6th September) for Funeral Mass at 2 pm, followed by cremation service at Shannon Crematorium at 4 pm. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired to Clarecares’ Home Support Service.
Parking available between 3 pm and 7 pm on Saturday evening at Mangan’s (Value Centre) V95CK60.
