A Clare woman living with advanced breast cancer is urging others in her position to persevere and to reach out for counselling supports when neccessary.
Corofin native Barbara King was diagnosed in 2020 and has been a strong advocate for systemic change and patient care since.

Earlier this year, Barbara became one of eight women to take part in the ‘Living Loudly Dying To Be Heard’ photo exhibition, which aims to share stories of people living positively with cancer.
She’s been telling Clare FM’s Morning Focus that despite several extremely tough moments, she’s keeping up the fight.
