Clare County Council says it needs funding from the NRA before it can carry out works on Blake’s Corner in Ennistymon, one of the county’s most infamous traffic blackspots.

Local representatives have called for the two buildings there to be de-listed and demolished, though heritage groups want them re-located.
The Council says that’s the most likely option, but say they need funding from the Roads Authority.
