A woman has died in a housefire in North Clare.

Gardaí say the 55-year old was the only occupant of the house at Derrynavaha, Craggagh, Ballyvaughan when the fire broke out at around 7 o'clock last evening.
Three units of the fire service from Ennistymon were dispatched to the scene, and remained there until nearly 1 o'clock this morning, but the woman was declared dead and her remains have been removed to University Hospital Limerick.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious, though Gardai have sealed off the scene for a technical examination.
