The Clare President of Saint Vincent de Paul says there are any amount of reasons that people can end up in poverty – but some are more at-risk than others.
It comes as figures released by the CSO show that one-in-five Irish children still live below the poverty line.

The ‘consistent poverty’ rate in Ireland dropped by 1.5 percent last year but the overall number of minors affected by poverty is still high.
