A West Clare water supply has been been found to have a high level of an environmental pollutant, which is linked to cancer.
Samples from public group schemes in Killimer, Seafield, Querrin, Clohanes, Leitrim/Shyan, all served by the West Clare supply continued to have trihalomethanes failures last year, despite the supply being added to the Remedial Action List in 2017.

T-H-Ms are usually formed as a result of adding chlorine to water.
Dr Michelle Minihan, from the Environmental Protection Agency, says the issue is being addressed.
