A business serving the West Clare community for more than three decades is closing its doors for the final time.
The owners of Central Shoes in Kilrush and Limerick have announced they’re closing both much-loved stores to begin a new business venture.

They say the decion has been in the offing for at least six years due to challenging trading conditions.
One of the owners of Central Shoes, Niamh Whelan, says the decision has been a mixture of deep emotion and excitment for the future.
