There’s been a rise in the number of patients on trolleys at the region’s main hospital once again.
The latest figures from the INMO reveal there were 44 people left waiting for a bed at University Hospital Limerick today, up from 29 yesterday.

It’s just one behind University Hospital Waterford, which is the busiest facility nationwide today.
It comes on a day where there are almost 450 people without a bed in Irish hospitals – a rise of 100 on yesterday’s figure.
