University Hospital Limerick remains the most overcrowded facility in the country despite a major reduction in its trolley numbers
49 patients are waiting for a bed in Dooradoyle this morning according to the INMO, with 15 of those in the Emergency Department and the remainder on wards elsewhere in the hospital.

Sligo University Hospital is the next most overcrowded in the country today, with 43 patients waiting for beds.
Nationally, the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation has recorded 401 patients on trolley’s, including 5 children.
