Two men have been arrested as part of the investigation into Anglo Irish Bank.

The former Anglo Irish Bank Director Willie McAteer was detained this morning – whilst a second man – aged in his 50s – has also been arrested.
Both men will appear before Dublin District Court this afternoon.
The arrests are part of the ongoing investigation by the Garda Fraud Squad and the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement into alleged financial irregularities at Anglo Irish Bank.
