Shannon Municipal District has committed to conducting a traffic survey of a route believed to be mired with a number of road safety issues.
Concerns have been raised around the stretch from entrance of St Senan’s Rugby Club to the roundabout by Wolfe Tones Camogie Club due to the lack of footpaths on the route.

Following correspondence from local Sinn Féin Councillor James Ryan, Shannon MD says it will carry out a traffic survey to establish traffic volumes and speed in order to assist them with any traffic calmingm measures.
Councillor Ryan says there are several problems on the road.
