Taoiseach Says He’d Have Concerns If Materials For Russian War Effort Being Produced In Shannon Estuary

The Taoiseach says he would have concerns if materials from an Aughinish Alumina plant in Limerick ended up being used in the war in Ukraine.

He made the comments ahead of an EU summit in Montenegro.

The Russian owned facility has been in the spotlight amid pressure from some European countries and MEPs to include the firm in sanctions imposed by the EU on Russia.
