The company rolling out superfast broadband throughout Ennis say the first homes could be connected to their service before the end of this month.
SIRO, a joint venture between ESB and Vodafone, has officially launched its service for the town, promising 1 gigabit speeds delivered to the town.

The company claims these speeds will put Ennis in the same bracket as Tokyo and Singapore, and potentially deliver a significant economic boost by allowing businesses do more online.
