College students continue to be hit by the housing crisis with a major hike in the cost of on-campus accommodation.

According to a survey by the Irish Independent, rents have increased by up to 760 euro for student accommodation this year
UCD is the most expensive college to live on campus – with their cheapest option costing almost 6 thousand euro per year.
Trinity is the second most expensive, followed by Maynooth and NUI Galway.
