South East Clare residents say they look forward to scrutinizing the draft constraints report for the Limerick Northern Distributor Road, now that Clare County Council is to release the document.
The Council’s decision comes after months of lobbying from local residents and representatives, who want to see why the local authority chose it’s preferred route for the controversial project.
120 million euro is to be spent on the road, which is set to link Coonagh with the Old Limerick/Dublin Road via Parteen, Ardnacrusha and the Northern part of UL.
Today meanwhile sees a second public consultation event being held at the Radisson Hotel on the Ennis Road, and Clonlara resident Pat Keane says people there are looking forward to engaging with Council engineers
