Shannon Airport recorded the strongest passenger growth among Ireland’s major airports in July, with numbers up almost nine per cent on the same month last year.
Figures from the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation show more than 280-thousand passengers travelled through the Midwest facility during the month.

It’s the third month in a row Shannon has been Ireland’s fastest-growing major airport, with the UK, Spain, the US, Poland and Portugal among the most popular destinations.
The Shannon Airport Group says thousands of passengers also used new direct services to destinations including Warsaw, Madrid, Rome and Frankfurt this summer.
