Shannon Aerospace Firm Joins Forces With Scandinavian Counterpart

A Shannon-based aerospace firm has joined forces with a Scandinavian counterpart with the aim of developing new technology that can operate in the Arctic.

A-techSYN Limited, which has its headquarters in the Shannon Free Zone, has agreed to provide €5 million in strategic funding to Denmark’s Amonyx ApS in return for 49% of its shares.

The joint venture will be centred on strengthening European capabilities in fixed-wing Unmanned Aerial Systems, or UAS, with a special focus on defence, Arctic operations, and cutting-edge technologies.

CEO and Founder of A-techSYN, Gökhan Çelik, says it’s a logical partnership.
