It’s claimed over dependency on agency staff is contributing to a high level of cancellations at Ennis Hospital.
Almost 20,000 medical procedures have been cancelled there in the past two and a half years.

While roughly 850 were postponed for reasons linked to overcrowding at University Hospital Limerick, over 10,500 were cancelled by patients.
