Separate Garda investigations are underway into two assaults in the Ennis area.
The incidents happened on Thursday evening last week and on Sunday night.
Emergency services were alerted at around 5.40pm last Thursday following an assault and public order incident at the junction of the Kildysart and Ballybeg roads.
It’s understood a group of men assaulted a lone male.
The man, who was in his 30s, was subsequently taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick for treatment for injuries which are not believed to be serious.
Gardaí believe a number of people and vehicles were involved and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
In a separate incident at around 9pm on Sunday, a man in his 40s suffered facial injuries after being assaulted in the Templegate car park.
