Second level teachers have announced two days of strike action over plans to reform the Junior Cert.

The ASTI and TUI unions will strike on Tuesday December 2nd – and a further day in January.
The unions – which represent 27-thousand teachers – say their key concerns about internal assessment are yet to be addressed by the Department of Education.
