The air search for missing Air Asia jet has been suspended for the night but some boats in the area plan to continue looking for any wreckage.
The jet – carrying a British national and 161 other people – disappeared en route from Indonesia to Singapore more than 12 hours ago.

It was about 40 minutes into its journey when it vanished from radar.
