The cost of renting a new home in Clare has risen by 7.3% in the space of a year.
The latest report from Daft.ie shows the average monthly rent paid for new tenancies rose to €1,529 between April and June.

The cost of renting a new 5-bed house is the greatest factor behind Clare’s overall increase, with the average monthly rent for such properties seeing an 11% increase to €1,696.
However, one-bed apartments along with two, three and four-bed homes also saw increases of about 7% in comparison to their 2024 average costs.
