The relocation of Ennis’s taxi rank has been suggested as a solution to the town’s parking woes.
Ennis Fianna Fáil Councillor Pat Daly has proposed moving the taxi rank from its current location in the Parnell Street Car Park due to what he calls the “serious shortage of parking spaces” in the town centre.

Ennis Municipal District’s says it’s “willing to consider alternative locations if required” and that a meeting could be arranged with local taxi providers to discuss the issue.
Councillor Daly says with parking “at a premium” in Ennis, all ideas must be explored.
