Anti-Gaddafi fighters say they’re closing in on the Colonel’s home town of Sirte where some believe he may be holed up.

They claim to be around 18 miles away to the west – and to have also taken the town of Bin Jawad.
Gaddafi’s spokesman has previously said he’s ready to begin talks about the transfer of power.
