A post mortem examination is due to be conducted today on the body of a second man who died after becoming ill at a house party in Cork city on Christmas Day.
Gardai believe both men died as a result of drug overdoses, although the cause of death will not be determined until toxicology tests have been completed.
A 33 year old man, who is believed to have taken a cocktail of drugs, was pronounced dead at the house at Rockgrove Terrace, off the Lower Glanmire Road on Christmas Day.
The second man – who was 32 years old – died this morning in hospital.
