A Clare woman volunteering in the West Bank claims Palestinians are essentially being told “to hell or to Connacht” despite having nowhere to seek refuge.
GAA clubs established in the West Bank are travelling to Ireland next week and will be stopping off in Clare over the course of the trip.

A total of 47 participants, including 33 children between the ages of nine and 16, will make the journey.
Social care worker Claire Liddy, who was involved in the delivery of the first hurleys and sliothars to the occupied territory, says locals are caught between a rock and a hard place.
