The Palestinian Ambassador to Ireland is hoping the spotlight will shift back to the plight of her people following a visit to Clare this week.
Dr Jilan Wahba Abdalmajid will be in this Doolin on Thursday where she’ll address a public meeting at Hotel Doolin at 8:30pm.

The event will centre on current developments in Palestine and the international efforts to achieve peace in the region.
The ambassador says it’s important to hear first-hand accounts of ongoing suffering in her country at a time when the focus is on turbelence in other areas.
