The embattled Garda Commissioner will now have to answer even more questions from the Oireachtas Justice Committee.
It comes as the Justice Minister’s preparing a root and branch review of the force and Fianna Fáil says they’d remove the Garda boss if they were in government.
The commissioner appeared before the Joint Committee on Justice last week and members are now seeking additional information.
It had been known that Noirín O’Sullivan was asked 15 questions by the committee, but that number is now up to 25.
Clare’s Senator Martin Conway, who’s a member of the committee says the commissioner’s responses could be critical in determining her future in the role.
