One in 10 non-domestic buildings in Clare received the highest building energy rating last year.
New data published by the Central Statistics Office shows two thirds of premises assessed were given a grade of C or higher.
Building Energy Rating audits are conducted to evaluate the energy efficiency of a property.
Last year, 129 BERs were awarded to non-commercial buildings in Clare which was up 21% on the previous year.
The most common BER was C, with 45% getting this rating, followed by D, which was bestowed on 17%.
Two thirds of non-commercial buildings in Clare were given a BER of C or above, with a total of 13, or 10%, receiving the top BER of A.
