A prominent Clare auctioneer says the recovery from the pandemic’s effect on home building will lead to further price increases over the next two years.
Cormac O’Sullivan of DNG O’Sullivan Hurley Auctioneers says that recent CSO figures which show 118 new planning permissions granted in this county in the first quarter of the year isn’t as positive as it appears.
The Ennis-based auctioneer says that a shortage in the number of homes granted planning permission in this county, coupled with planning permission being granted for the wrong type of houses will only contribute to the difficulties facing the market.
