A new veterinary centre has opened in Ennis to help assist animal welfare charities by offering services for a reduced cost.
The new clinic attached to Precious Pets in the county town, also aims to assist pensioners or those on social welfare who are struggling with the cost of caring for their pet.

The centre is open Monday to Friday from 11am to 2pm and is ran by Liam Burke of Ballyhugh vets.
County Dog Warden, Frankie Coote, says the clinic is providing a valuable service.
