More Cars Targetted By Criminals At Clare Forrest Parks and Tourist Attractions

People out walking at Clare's forrest parks and tourist attractions are being reminded not to leave valuables on display after a number of cars were broken into.

Four cars were broken into in Cratloe over the past week – a number of items including handbags, bank cards and phones were taken.

While two cars in Fanore and the Burren were also targetted by criminals. 

At Craggagh, Fanore on Friday last a silver laptop, cash and a Samsung Galaxy phone were taken from one car while on the same day at Poulnabrone, Ballyvaughan cash and US passport were among the stolen items.

Gardaí are appealing to people to be more security conscious when leaving their car unattended.
