A MidWest anti-war campaigner says misogyny within the military needs to be eliminated.

A new action plan for the defences forces has been officially unveiled today, which will see the current annual spend of 1.1 billion euro increased to 1.5 billion over the next six years.

Minister for Defence Simon Coveney said the investment signals a “new era” for the Defence Forces, but it will take years, not months, to deliver the changes.
