A low level yellow rainfall alert has been issued for Clare.
Met Éireann is forecasting spells of heavy rain on already saturated ground on Saturday evening.

Likely impacts include river and surface water flooding, difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility.
The alert comes into force at 6 o’clock on Saturday evening and remains in place until midnight on Monday.
