The Mayor of Clare is set to undertake a 160km cycle in aid of mental health services this weekend.
The event will commence from Loop Head at 8am on Saturday and will see riders take in Kilrush, Kildysart, Clarecastle, Quin, Tulla, Feakle, Scarriff, Mountshannon and Whitegate, before finishing at the Galway county boundary.

All funds raised will go towards the Clare branch of the Samaritans.
Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council Paul Murphy says it’s a fitting cause.
