The number of Ukrainian refugees and International Protection Applicants residing in Clare has fallen marginally in the last year.
New CSO figures show there are now 4,930 Ukrainian Beneficiaries residing in this county, which is 100 fewer than July 2025.

Of those living here, 626 are children enrolled in local primary and secondary schools.
According to the Department of Justice’s latest report, meanwhile, there are now 933 International Protection Applicants residing in Clare, a drop of 52 since last year.
Nationally, Clare continues to host the seventh highest total of Asylum Seekers.
