Man Due In Court Following Fatal Limerick Stabbing

A man in his 40s is due to appear in court this morning following a fatal stabbing in Limerick at the weekend.

24 year old Patrick O’Connor from Kileely in Limerick city, suffered serious stab wounds at a pub on Sexton Street on Saturday night and was pronounced dead later in hospital.

A man arrested in connection with the case has been detained overnight at Henry Street Garda Station and is due before Limerick District Court at around half past ten.
