A man has died in a stabbing in Co Louth.

Gardaí in Drogheda say they’re now investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack which happened in the Rathmullen Park area of the town at about a quarter to one this morning.
A 30-year-old man was stabbed – and taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A 40-year-old woman has been arrested.
She’s being detained at Drogheda Garda Station – where she can be held for up to 24 hours.
