A man in is 40s who was arrested by Clare Gardaí yesterday is expected to appear before a sitting of Ennis District Court this morning.
Last night Gardaí arrested a man in Shannon for an alleged offence contrary to the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act 1997.

The man was detained at a Garda Station overnight.
An Garda Síochána says it is aware of a number of allegations which have been circulating on social media and mainstream media recently.
These allegations are understood to be inaccurate.
