Nursing staff at University Hospital Limerick report high levels of overcrowding today.

INMO figures show 36 people on trolleys at Dooradoyle, ten more than any other hospital in Ireland.
The figures come amid reports that a senior HSE official has voiced "very serious concern" about the number of patients on trolleys.
The Irish Independent reports that Dr. Tony O'Connell, the National Director of Acute Hospitals, has written to hospital chiefs telling them that trolley numbers are "being focussed on at the highest levels" and that problems will likely be even worse in January.
