A man who was travelling from Kilkee to Limerick on Sunday, experienced symptoms similar to a heart attack while driving and pulled into Lisseycasey.

Customers came to his assistance, and a local woman went to the nearby GAA pitch to get the defibrillator only to discover that it had been taken.

Chairman of Fergus Rovers Ladies Club John O'Malley says the theft could have led to the loss of life.
