Leading Clare Coach Operator Says 2021 Will Be ‘Write Off’ For Industry

A leading coach operator in Clare believes 2021 will be another ‘write off’ for the industry.

It comes as operators across the country are calling on the Government to examine the level of support being provided to the sector.

International travel will not resume for at least another 7 weeks, while appropriate social distancing measures will still need to be enforced on board when tourists do begin to come back into the country.

Brian Farrell of Burren Coaches believes it will be 2022 before the sector begins to bounce back from the pandemic.
