A unique charity event is taking place in Clare tomorrow to raise much-needed funds for a local cancer support service.
The Ladies Dip In The Nip is a charity skinny-dip event raising money for the West Clare Cancer Centre, which provides free support, care and comfort services to cancer patients and their families.

The event, organised by the Mermaids and Buoys Swim group, takes place tomorrow, Saturday, August 15, although the location is being kept under wraps until closer to the event.
55 people are due to take part in the event and organiser Pauline Dunleavy has been telling Clare FM’s Morning Focus that it’s a very worthy cause.
