A Kilrush business owner claims she’s been forced to close her doors due to mounting costs and no Government assistance.
Hair and beauty salon, Cocolemon, will pull down the shutter for the final time next month after six years operating in the community.

Its owner, Dawn Bennett, says it was a hard but necessary decision in light of rising bills such as commercial rates, minimum wage, pension auto-enrolment.
She’s also hit out at the State for failing to assist businesses like hers with dealing with these increases.
