For the first time Kilrush will host a Darkness into light walk this May.
The event is organised by the self harm and suicide crisis centre Pieta House and aims to support those with mental health issues.

Last year over 2,500 people attended the Ennis walk – and this year the town, Kilrush and 37 locations across the country are taking part.
It all gets underway at 4.15 AM on May 10th.
