Gardaí in Killaloe are investigating the daylight robbery of a canoe in the town.
A woman who was canoeing in the area stopped to get lunch on Saturday afternoon, but when she returned she found that her vessel had been taken, along with two paddles and two life jackets.

The incident occurred at some stage between 3 and 5 pm on Saturday afternoon.
