An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 43-year-old woman in Co Westmeath.

The woman's body was discovered yesterday evening at 9:30pm at a house in the village of Ballinacarrigy.
A post mortem will be carried out this evening by the Deputy State Pathologist Dr Linda Mulligan at the Midlands Regional Hospital.
