New data suggests more people are staying local in Clare.
CSO figures show the proportion of people remaining with 10 kilometres increased by 2 percent here in the week up to March 12th.

57.9 percent of people are deemed to be ‘staying local’ in Clare, with the week-on-week increase here among the highest in the country.
It’s still below the figure of 59 percent which was reported in this county a month prior.
